Topic : Ancient Egypt

 Hello? I am guide Lauren and today I will invite you to ancient Egypt. I will introduce the location of Egypt the first. Second I will introduce about the history of ancient Egrpt. Third, I will introduce famous pharaohs. Lastly I will introduce about remains of ancient Egypt. I will tell you my opinion during my presentation so listen carefully.I will tell you the reason why I choose this topic. The reason why I choose this topic is because I wantted to know about ancient civilization. So I looked up my book which is 'The Story of the World'. There were a lots of ancient civilization such as Egypt, Mesopotamia, Hwang Ho, and so on. And then I picked Egyp[t because Egypt was a strong country. Anyway I will back to my presentation. I prepared time machine that have 18seats! Let's get on the time machine and travel to Egypt! Are you ready to travel? Then Let's go!

 We are now landed on the ancient Egypt time. Can you see Egypt's land in the handout? This land is located in North Western of Africa continent. Now I will introduce ancient Egypt History by dynasties. Before 6000years from now on, the Egypt was seperated in to two. Which is Upper and Lower Egypt. Lower Egypt was in nile delta. Nile delta is a place that the river is sepearated in to many branches.In the picture upper part that connect to Meditterean sea is nile delta. In this place when rain or snow falls a lot the river floods. Because of this, farmers get damage because of flood. But farmers didn't think that flood is  bad. Because, when the river floods, it transport alluvial soil that makes crops to grow well. Also because river floods preodically, they can prevent. So there were not that much of damage. Lower Egypt citizen was ruled by a king who wear red crown. Now I will introduce about  Upper Egypt. Upper Egypt is located under the Lower Egypt. This part, citizen was ruled by king who wear white crown.In B.C. 3000, Menes king who is came from Upper Egypt, unified two land. After Menes unified the empire, the time is called 'the 1st dynasty'. After Menes unified two Egypt, Egypt developed. They maintenanced or fixed the system of hieroglyphics. And they made calenders. You will probably know that 1 year is 365days. This is basic imformation isn't it? This basic imformation comes from ancient Egypt. In the 3rd dynasty, pharaoh Djoser was famous for making pyramid at the fist time.During 4th dynasty, pharaoh's power became stronger. The 5th dynasty was built by Userkaf. He made 'Ra'which is sun god to be main god instead of Osiris god. Also he thought he is a son of 'Ra' and made temple for 'Ra' god. Egypt was getting weaker from 5th dynasty. During 6th dynasty to 10th dynasty,Egypt became a lot weak. In 11th dynasty, Mentuhotep the 2nd, reunified the upper and lower Egypt.After reunification he invaded Nubia, Libya, Syria, and Sinai. And it was sucessful! Amenemat began the 12th dynasty. This dynasty is called the Golden Age. During Sesostris the 3rd and Amenemat the 3rd was ruling the empire, there were peace. Egypt welcomed foreigners in the early 12th dynasty especialy Asian. But during late 12th dynasty, Egypt's rights were getting weaker. During 16th dynasty to 17th dynasty Hyksos group ruled Egypt. Asian's rule gave Egypt a lots of improve or develope. For an example, other culture, many skills, new crops, adn new weapons. In 18th dynasty, Ahmose dissipate the Hyksos group's power in Nile Delta. He reunified upper and lower Egypt again. Tutmosis the 3rd succeed the invade. It means he recovered the ancient time's land! Amenhotep the 4th is a pharaoh who practice monothesim. Monotheism is belive in only one god. The reason why it is important is because at that time there were a lots of god. He changed the capital city and made new city which is Akhetaten. Pharaoh Tut was famous in this period of time. I will introduce him later. In 19th dynasty, Seti the 1st became a pharaoh. Before he became phraoh he was a goo military leader. He used force to make Hittite kingom to be weak. And treated the Libya people who wants to come to Nile Delta, very well. 3rd pharaoh who is Ramses the 2nd, ruled Egypt for 66 years. Isn't it amazing? I think his life expecdancy was realy long.  I looked up to highrise to know about other country. And there were a lots of people in there . At there I choose baby because that baby looks cute. Also I wantted to know about that baby's country which is Banglore. So I watched video that is about that baby's country. And there were a lots of difference and little bit of similarity. I will introduce difference and similarity between our country and her country.

 I found 4 differences and 1 similarity. I will tell you about the differences first. First difference that I found is there are a lots of trees and gardens in Banglore but Korea do not have. Second difference that I found is in Banglore monkeys are having freedom but in Korea, monkeys are in the cage that is located in the zoo. I can not realy live in that place which is Banglore because monkeys are moving freely. May be that monkey hurt me! Anyway, I will back to my topic.Third that I found is  in Banglore most of the wires are not in underground. In Korea most of the wires are in the underground. But Banglore wires are above the land. Forth that I found is Banglore buildings are short. Korea's building such as 63builing is very tall.
Now I will introduce about similarity. The one similarity is in Korea and Banglore there are a lots of buildings.
In conclusion there are a lots of differences for culture and enviroment for different country.

I went to amusement park with my friend. I had 1year ticket but my freiend doesn't has one so my freiend bought it.It was very fun. I love to play in amusement park.

Aren't you late for school?Do you know the time that you have to go to school? You have to go to school until 8: 30a.m.But it is 8: 40a.m. already. Hurry up. You are realy late for school. You should set alram.

Lauren's friend is going to introduce Lauren. She attend to Jamshin elementary school. And she graduate elementary school in2011. She like to do fun experiments,and memorizing preodic table.Also she likes to play with friends in the amument park. She said that she wants to be Chemist or doctor in the future.

COLD

 What can you imagine for a word hot? I can imagine sweat, summer, air conditioner, sticky, stressful, and high discomfort index. Do you want to know why I imagined these words? If yes I will explain why did I imagined these words.The reason why I imagined summer is because in summer time it is very hot.And the reason why I imagined sweat, stick, and high discomfort index is because when the weather is hot even though we walk for a while, we sweat.Also when we sweat it is realy sticky. If people feels it is sticky, people's discomfort index is getting higher. So you should be careful to people during summer time or day that is realy hot!  Lastly the reason why I imagined air conditioner is because in summer time or day that the weather is hot many people use air conditioner to cooler the temperature.

 And what can you imagine for a word cold? I can imagine low temperature, freezing, skating, snow, ice,winter, and heater. Do you want to know the reason why I imagined these words? Then I will tell you why did I imagined these words. The reaon why I imagined low temperature, and freezing is because when the weather is cold, it makes the temperature to be decrese, and some time makes something to freeze.And the reason why I imagined snow, ice, and winter is because in winter the weather is usually cold, and because of cold weather rain frozen in the sky and falls down. That is snow so I imagined. Also the reason why I imagined heater and skating is because skating is one of the most interesting sport that we enjoy during winter,and we usually use heater to make temperature to be high.

Coraline Movie

This is a movie called 'Coraline'. I watched with my friend long time ago. Also there is a book with this story.
It is little bit scary and fun. For me the scary part was a part that Coraline got stuck in room alone. And time tht her mother( not a real mother ) was trying to put button on her eyes was scary too. It is dangerous. I f she put on the button by using thread and needle, her eye will be destroy. I think if she didn't found that door, there will be no situation like this. Any way this movie is fun (Little bit scary)

S.A.T:About 'Spring,Summer,Fall,Winter,Spring'flim

 There is a film named 'Spring, summer, fall, widter, adn spring'. I watched spring part and this part was about situation between teacher and student. The summry of this film is same as blow. They live together in the temple and belive in Budda. A young student likes to playing with animals such as fish, frog, and snake. One day, a young student was palying with animals by tie them using thread and roak. He bully many animals. Because of roak and thread, animals was hard to move. The teacher saw this situation. And do the same thing to the student when he was sleeping. So student said " Please release this rope. It is painful to me". So the teacher said  " If you release animal that you tied and if those animal is alive I will release you. But if one of them die, you will have that heavy roak in your mind forever". So the student went out to release them. But only frog was alive. Other two was dead. So he cried.
 I think the teacher was trying to teach the importance of the living thing's life. Because he said release animal that student tied. And  I think because of Budda's teach, the teacher think the living thing's life is important. Also, I don't like the teacher's way to teach student. Because the student is very young. Most of the young students can not compare rather the thing that he or she do is good or bad. So I think he should teach the young student by saying what is wrong about him.
 I do not have same experience like the young student in this film. Because our parent punish by saying what is wrong with me. But I have experience about hurting animal. When I was very young, I had 2 hamsters. One day I was cleaning the hamster and my mother was washing hamster's house. But at that time, I don't have a lots of information about taking care about hamster. So I was playing with my hamster in the water suddenly hamster died. I was so sad.
 In conclusion, I think the teacher was trying to teach the importance of the living thing to student
